Little Girl's Hairstyles -Twist Braids into Pony Loop 10-15 min

Well, this was another experiment that I ended up liking pretty ok, and unlike some of my more elaborate creations, this is one we actually do quite often. So it has my everyday ease of doing thumbs up!

This hairdo is a great one to start out using some lightweight gel, worked through nice, wet hair. The gel will help keep the hairs tucked into the loop at the end.
This is how I parted it to begin with: Down the center to the ears, and clipped off the back.
Make 4 ponys, 2 on each side of the first part.
Do a twist braid on each of the four ponys. I had my little gal help me hold the ends of the braids.
Once all the twist braids are done, comb the back of the hair into a low pony.
You can either put in an elastic and secure the pony first, and then bring in the twists, or do it all at the same time. I don't like having more than 2 elastics around a pony, and the loop does requre another, I chose to do it all together. The trick with that is to bring one braid over at a time, and keep it tight.
Secure with an elastic.
On the last pull through, pull the majority of the length of hair through, leaving enough to wrap around the base of the pony.
Wrap the tail around like so, until all the hair is wound around.
Wrap another clear elastic around the wrapped hair. Having wet hair here will help keep the loop smooth and even. Try to keep it all together as you pull it through the last elastic, or else it can look a little messy (like mine here!)

Smooth is out as much as possible, and spray it well!
