Little Girl's Hairstyles - Twist buns 7-10 min

Okay, this one was purely for fun.....and my title for it is just for practicality. Every member of our family called her an alien when they saw her. This did not make her very happy. (She was already mad I wasn't leaving her hair down!)

I started with a center part on wet hair.
Section off to just behind ear.
Holding the base of the hair, start twisting hair until it starts to curve in on itself, and then start wrapping around base.
If your girl's hair is long, don't just keep wrapping solely around the base, this will make it tall and goofy.
Only wrap the last portion around the base, and wrap ends tight until they don't show.  Then wrap an elastic (I used a clear elastic) around base and around the bottom row of twists a few times to secure. If you only wrap around the very base, it will usually work itself free.

And twisty alien bun no. 1

I did 6 buns on her head. You can do less or more, whatever will work best on her amount of hair.  This shows how I continued parting down the back.

All finished. You can see how happy she is about her do, since she has her eyes covered with her hands, sobbing. :(

The front, complete with The Look.

I have a wonderful daughter, who still lets me take pictures of her looking like Cheri Oteri in Liar Liar, when she's mad. (I tried really hard to find a picture of C.O. in that movie to match up on here....but was not successful!! Can anyone find one with her goofy hair do?)

This does give you nice hair after it's been in a while and dried.........but I wouldn't recommend sleeping on those things.
